Every translation project involves one or more translators, depending on the client’s requirements and the size of the project. Once the translation is completed, it goes through rigorous quality control process to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality. The final stage of the translation project is proofreading.

We use SDL* Trados Studio in almost all translation projects. It is a CAT tool which helps us expand your unique term base and maintain consistency of technical terms and specific corporate language of your company.

Babilon also provides certified translations of documents.

Translation is charged per standard translation page which consists of 1500 characters without space.

We now offer remote interpreting services, using different platforms, depending on the capacities and preferences of our clients (Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts). We will provide you with outstanding remote simultaneous or consecutive interpretation.

Interpreting while the person is speaking, using particular equipment (e. g. booths, earphones, microphone). It is charged by the hour (including also part of the hour). The rate will depend on various factors, such as the number of days, overtime hours, etc. Simultaneous interpreting usually requires the hiring and fees for two interpreters, unless agreed otherwise with the client.

Interpreter interprets segments of the source speech, usually with the help of notes. Consecutive interpreting does not require additional equipment, but it does require time planning, to allow sufficient time for interpretation.

Consecutive interpreting is charged by the hour (including also part of the hour), depending on the number of hours, duration of the assignment (full day, several days), overtime hours, etc.

Interpretation is simultaneous, but does not require special equipment and allows for fast and uninterrupted communication without pauses for interpretation. It is intended for small groups and small scale events. The interpreter is seated or standing with the participant(s) and interprets simultaneously directly into their ear.

Usually only one interpreter is used, which makes chuchotage the best option for clients who want to have a quick meeting and avoid pauses for interpretation, but would also like to avoid the costs of equipment and an additional interpreter for the booth.
